Itinerary
Pick up from hotel and drop off at the local airport. The flight form Nairobi to Masai Mara takes you 45 minutes. On arrival at maasai mara our tour guide will pick you from the airstrip.
The first sight of this Game Park is breathtaking. There is nowhere else on earth to compare with this wildlife marvel. The combination of a gentle climate, scenic splendor and untold numbers of wildlife makes the Masai Mara National Reserve Kenya's most popular inland destination.
After lunch we shall embark on our first game drive. The reserve is also regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing area in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds.
Today we start with breakfast. Taking lunch boxes with us, we shall leave for a game drive heading to the mara river upto the point of the wildbeest crossing. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Park's are the Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousand of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles.
This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino.
Today you can take the optional activity of visiting the masai cultural village. The masai people are one of the few tribes in Kenya that have preserved their cultural practices. You will be able to join the masai dances in their traditional dance.
Morning game drive as we head to the airstrip for Nairobi bound flight . on arrival in Nairobi our tour guide will pick you up to drop you either to your hotel or the international airport for your departure flight.
